I'm Michelle Jamieson, an American geek residing in Glasgow. I am a freelance desktop publisher and creative artworker with 12 years’ experience in the design industry. I specialise in planning, design, typesetting and production of long documents such as financial reports, academic publications and books. I have worked on large projects for Aberdeen University, ScottishPower and the Forestry Commission. A recent typesetting project, The Gutter, a Scottish literary magazine published and designed by Freight Design, won the Scottish Design Award 2010 Chairman’s Award as well as the Award in Publishing.

I am an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign.


I also co-manage the Scottish Adobe Network, an official Adobe user group for Scotland based designers.
